Snatchaboss on Sludgeraker Beast are largely the same unit, so let's cover them both together. This is obviously a very potent damage amplifier and works on both ranged and melee attacks, meaning you can make those Boltboyz even meaner. As for the profiles themselves, there's four of them with a healthy mix of rend 1 and rend 2 damage attacks that means they're respectable in a scrap. At worst it can be used to snipe out command models, and at best it can fairly reliably kill a 5W hero that strays too close to him (3" range baby).

Playing the Harlequins is like choreographing a particularly deadly dance, as your specialist troops run rings around their sluggish enemies, devastating them up close and in melee. A small but focused roster of ultra-customisable units means your force won't need many models to complete, while rich detail and lurid colour schemes offer hours of painting fun for each model. A Harlequin army is a deadly cast of characters, each playing their role to perfection – and leaving your enemies in shreds. If you hit the top of 24, you add +1 to attack of all units in your army for the turn. This might be useful if theres a clutch win in it for you but overall the fact it's just dull is a hard pill to swallow for what used to be one of the most fun armies to play.
The ruleset for playing Fireteam is an abbreviated version of the brand-new Kill Team experience. Movement is abstracted from inches down to hexes, but by and large everything else is the same. Players even use similar stat blocks to control their units across both games. The Fireteam set comes with a campaign mode, just like its big brother Kill Team, meaning you can string together multiple missions with a friend and improve your individual units along the way.

Welcome to Warhammer 40,000, the thrilling hobby of tabletop wargaming! These Campaigns were run to promote its miniature wargames, and attracted interest in the hobby, particularly at gaming clubs, Hobby Centres and independent stockists. As a whole these events have been successful; one, for example, was deemed "a fantastic rollercoaster", with thousands of registered participants. Contrast paints were added to the Games Workshop paint range in 2019, promoted as speeding up the painting process for players who don't enjoy or want to spend the time painting their Games Workshop models. The existing range of paints was also expanded and reorganised when Contrast was released, and branding changed from Citadel to Citadel Colour.

Though Games Workshop certainly makes money from branded video games, being anchored in physical products and stores that offer a communal experience could be a good place to be in years to come. So long as you can save your prized miniature collection from extreme weather events, Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar will continue to be playable in a post-carbon economy. For a company that has done so well out of dystopian fiction, that would arguably be a fitting turn of events. Master the art of Mont'ka with Commander O'Shovah and the Farsight Enclaves.
If you want your forces to get up close and personal then this is the army for you – its warriors are experts in the deadly art of engaging the enemy at close quarters and annihilating them. Coven of Twelve armies want to close with the enemy quickly and butcher them in close combat, their weapons piercing and carving through armour. If you like to be up close and personal, you'll want to join the coven. Slashing and stabbing rapidly as they rush into melee, Cult of Strife armies are perfect for players who like to adopt a hit and run approach, hunting enemy units and striking hard. Drukhari units draw power from their foes' suffering, and the Black Heart are even more attuned to these emanations, making them perfect for players who want an elite force with lots of abilities very early in the game.
Alpha Legion forces are deadly on the tabletop, as they are harder to hit at a distance. This allows their own fire support units to lay down withering fire with little fear of reprisal. Good stuff, those are probably the best battle traits of those armies, so you can bring the units over mostly intact. Da Choppas allow you to make the most of your Warchanters, letting you spread Violent Fury to 3 units instead of 1. Taking this could lead to you saving points within army list construction and no longer needing to bring at least 2 Warchanters, but at the same time it does paint a massive target on the one you bring, usually right between the eyes. Mighty Destroyers has returned as a Command Ability with multiple uses.
It solves your speed issues in 3 different ways, allowing them to make a normal move if more than 12″ from the enemy, make a charge if theyre within 12″ of an enemy unit and debuting with a free pile-in if they're already in combat. They're all pretty handy for allowing you to solve different problems and it'll be really interesting to see how players use it over the course of games. Their warscroll has been hollowed out in a deeply emblematic manner. They lost their run and charge, and they lost their bonus damage against monsters. Now it's just a flat 2 damage against any target and that's a very sad day in my book. Their points have dropped to 80 in reflection of the savage kicking their rules have taken, but a max unit size of 2 leaves them crippled.
I'm going to put this at the beginning here becausetechnically it applies to all 4 factions equally and I'd like to go broad before we narrow things down. Also, there are a couple of Matched Play exclusive rules that can be used in Matched Play by any army in this book. However some may have prerequisites only one or two of those subfactions can fulfill. There are five Grand Strategies, 6 Battle tactics and 3 Core Battalions. This is like the Stormcast Eternals book and I won't repeat my opinions them in general here, but to add something new I do think we run up against a real problem here.
